3 Oak Wood Flooring manage the entire process through our own production in Europe, ensuring strict quality control at every stage.

By working directly with us, you avoid intermediaries, which allows us to offer flexible and highly competitive pricing. This creates real value not only for end clients, who receive premium-quality flooring at a fair manufacturer price, but also for architects and designers.

Our partners benefit from commercial flexibility and margin opportunities, enabling them to optimise budgets, remain competitive, and deliver added value to their clients, something that is often not possible when working with standard suppliers or resellers.

As a manufacturer, we control the entire timber process from cutting and drying to final sanding. This allows us to carefully select and control the grading at every stage.

We use only premium, high-quality, carefully selected 100% European oak, avoiding defects such as cracks, sapwood, and other inconsistencies. As a result, our flooring offers a clean, refined appearance with minimal natural variation.

While maintaining the authenticity of real wood, our boards achieve a high level of visual uniformity, significantly more consistent than most products on the market, thanks to the fact that all processing is done in one place under our control.

All wood flooring accessories, including stair treads, risers, nosing, thresholds, and reducers, are produced from the same 100% European oak, the same batch, and the same drying process as the flooring boards.

Because everything is made from the same material source, we achieve minimal colour variation across all elements. This results in a highly consistent and harmonious look, especially important for projects where flooring and staircases must match perfectly.

Unlike many suppliers who source accessories separately, our approach ensures a seamless visual continuity throughout the space.

We manage the entire process in-house from raw timber selection and production to finishing, packaging, and delivery coordination.

Because we control every stage, we can plan and execute deliveries reliably, ensuring orders arrive on time and in full accordance with agreed-upon timelines.

This level of control minimises delays, reduces risks, and provides confidence and predictability for both clients and project partners, which is essential for smooth project execution.

Our Hand-Finished process creates deep protection within the wood, rather than a superficial surface UV coating.

Our 4 Plus Protection system®, exclusively developed by 3 Oak Wood Flooring, provides enhanced resistance against everyday substances such as coffee, red wine, fried oils, and other common household marks.

Each layer of Hardwax oil or ecological water-based lacquer is applied by hand and allowed to dry fully before the next layer is added. This slow, controlled process allows the finish to fully penetrate the oak structure, forming a durable, long-lasting protective system from within.

In contrast, most UV-finished floors rely on fast, machine-applied coatings that create a thin surface film. While visually uniform, this layer sits only on top of the wood and, once damaged, often requires full sanding, removing part of the wear layer and increasing long-term maintenance costs.

With our approach:

  • With its naturally slow-drying process, the finish is absorbed deep into the wood, providing protection from within rather than just on the surface.
  • Scratches can be repaired or refreshed locally without invasive work
  • The original colour and character are preserved
  • The wear layer remains intact, extending the lifespan of the floor
  • Maintenance is simpler, faster, and more cost-effective

This results in a floor that offers a more natural appearance, enhanced durability, and significantly lower lifetime maintenance, making it both a refined and practical long-term solution.

Thanks to our deep-penetrating finish, the floor can be, even after years of use. easily refreshed without sanding

Instead of heavy renovation, the process is simple:

  • A light buffing (screening) removes only the top protective layer
  • A new layer of oil or lacquer is applied in one day
  • The floor is ready again the next day after natural drying

Because we do not sand the wood, the original colour and character remain unchanged. We are only renewing the protective layer, not removing material.

Key advantages:

  • No dust, no heavy works
  • No loss of wear layer
  • Same original colour, refreshed look
  • Fast and cost-effective process

In contrast, UV-finished floors cannot be refreshed this way. Once the surface film is damaged or removed, the wood underneath is unprotected, requiring full sanding and complete refinishing, which is significantly more expensive and less predictable in terms of final colour.

With our Bespoke Hand-Finished service, we can create custom colours tailored to each project.

Clients and designers can provide:

  • Physical samples
  • Photos (e.g. from Instagram, Pinterest, magazines)
  • Reference materials or concepts

Based on this, we develop a matching or very close colour, using our own hand-finishing techniques and colour formulas.

Because of our process:

  • Colours are deep, rich, and more natural-looking
  • The finish is more durable and better protected compared to standard factory colours
  • Results are highly customised and unique

Additionally, thanks to our direct production model (no intermediaries), this bespoke service is often more cost-effective than similar custom solutions offered by competitors.

This allows designers and clients to achieve a truly personalised interior, without compromising on quality or budget.

As a manufacturer, we offer a fully bespoke manufacturing process, allowing complete flexibility in design and technical specifications.

We create flooring tailored to the unique requirements of each project, including:

  • A wide range of patterns, planks, herringbone, chevron, Versailles panels, basket weave and other geometric designs
  • Custom dimensions, bespoke lengths, widths and board proportions
  • Flexible construction options from slim profiles (10–12 mm) to standard (15 mm) and heavy-duty constructions (20–22 mm+)

Unlike suppliers limited to standard stock formats, we manufacture flooring specifically for each project, giving architects, designers and homeowners complete freedom in both aesthetics and performance.

When you work with us, every project is assigned a unique reference number, where the full colour formula and finishing system are carefully recorded.

Because we are the manufacturer, we keep a complete record of:

  • Colour composition and finishing materials (oil/lacquer)
  • Production process and project specifications. You can:
  • Carry out maintenance with or without our direct involvement
  • Maintain the original appearance for many years
  • Refresh or restore the same colour. We can provide:
  • The exact materials (oil/lacquer) and the application process
  • Technical guidance for contractors or clients

You are not simply buying a floor, you are investing in a controlled process designed to deliver lasting consistency and complete peace of mind.

We stand behind our product and service by offering full warranty on both flooring and installation.
