Controlled grading & premium selection
As a manufacturer, we control the entire timber process from cutting and drying to final sanding. This allows us to carefully select and control the grading at every stage.
We use only premium, high-quality, carefully selected 100% European oak, avoiding defects such as cracks, sapwood, and other inconsistencies. As a result, our flooring offers a clean, refined appearance with minimal natural variation.
While maintaining the authenticity of real wood, our boards achieve a high level of visual uniformity, significantly more consistent than most products on the market thanks to the fact that all processing is done in one place under our control.
Perfect colour match across all accessories
All wood flooring accessories including stair treads, risers, nosing, thresholds and reducers are produced from the same 100% European oak, same batch, and same drying process as the flooring boards.
Because everything is made from the same material source, we achieve minimal colour variation across all elements. This results in a highly consistent and harmonious look, especially important for projects where flooring and staircases must match perfectly.

Hand-Finished Technology with Deep Penetration of Hardwax oil and Ecologic Water-based Lacquer
Our Hand-Finished process creates deep protection within the wood, rather than a superficial surface UV coating.
Our 4 Plus Protection system® exclusively developed by 3 Oak Wood Flooring provides enhanced resistance against everyday substances such as coffee, red wine, fried oils, and other common household marks.
Each layer of Hardwax oil or ecologic water-based lacquer is applied manually and allowed to fully dry naturally before the next layer is added. This slow and controlled process allows the finish to fully penetrate into the oak structure, forming a durable and long-lasting protection system from within.
In contrast, most UV-finished floors rely on fast, machine-applied coatings that create a thin surface film. While visually uniform, this layer sits only on top of the wood and, once damaged, often requires full sanding, removing part of the wear layer and increasing long-term maintenance costs.
With our approach:
- With its naturally slow drying process, the finish is absorbed deep into the wood, creating protection from within rather than just on the surface.
- Scratches can be repaired or refreshed locally without invasive work
- The original colour and character are preserved
- The wear layer remains intact, extending the lifespan of the floor
- Maintenance is simpler, faster, and more cost-effective

Easy refreshing & low-maintenance care
Thanks to our deep-penetrating finish, the floor can be, even after years of use. easily refreshed without sanding
Instead of heavy renovation, the process is simple:
- A light buffing (screening) removes only the top protective layer
- A new layer of oil or lacquer is applied in one day
- The floor is ready again the next day after natural drying
Because we do not sand the wood, the original colour and character remain unchanged. We are only renewing the protective layer, not removing material.

With our Bespoke Hand-Finished service, we can create custom colours tailored to each project.
Clients and designers can provide:

Based on this, we develop a matching or very close colour, using our own hand-finishing techniques and colour formulas.
