Thanks to buffed-in layers, the oil soaks deeper into the wood, offering stronger, more resilient long-term protection than surface-cured UV oil.

Better texture and colour depth
Hand-finishing brings out the natural grain and tone of oak in a way that UV oil cannot. The result is a richer, warmer, more “alive” surface.

Flexible and durable finish
Our slow-drying, naturally cured oil layers remain more elastic over time, reducing surface cracking and ageing compared to UV-cured layers.

Easier to maintain and refresh
Minor scratches or wear? No problem. Unlike UV, hand-finished oil can be cleaned, refreshed, or spot-repaired without requiring the entire floor to be sanded.
